I am Jianli from Beijing, China. I received my Ph.D degree from Peking University, China in 2017. During that time, I mainly focused on the innate immune antiviral signaling pathway, especially the newly-established cGAS-cGAMP-STING dependent cytosolic DNA sensing and signaling. I joined Chiarle's Lab in Boston to extend my post-doc training in 2018. Currently I have great interests about DNA double strand breaks (DSBs), which potentially initiate chromosomal translocations and genome instability. Moreover, chromosomal translocations are key drivers of oncogenic transformation of cancer cells. High-throughput genome-wide translocation sequencing (HTGTS), a powerful technique that can generate genomic maps of chromosomal translocations, greatly helps me to understand the genomic instability in cancer.
